How to Run Breakfast Around the World
Break kids into groups. Assign each group a country. China, Russia, Brazil, Afghanistan, Canada, France, Spain, England, Colombia, Cuba, Germany…..
Have them research their assigned country and find ten interesting facts about it. Then have them research what a typical breakfast is in their country. Then have them find a recipe they think they could recreate. When the kids have found a recipe print it and make a shopping list of ingredients.
Once monthly, have a group make the recipe they found for everyone. Before the meal is served have the kids share the ten interesting facts about their assigned country. After all groups have presented their country and food create a recipe book!
Below are a few examples of recipes kids were able to find and create, do you know any recipes for this activity? Add your breakfast ideas in the comments!
