Get kids active with this fun get to know you game.  Do you like Dogs?  Do you like Homework?  I like it tag is a twist on traditional tag games that kids will love.

Supplies

• Lots of friends
• Gym or large room for active play

How to Play I like it Tag

Designate one wall in the playing space as the “Yes” wall.  Designate the wall across from the “Yes” wall as the “no” wall.  Point out that the center circle is the “maybe/Sometimes” circle.

Select 2-4 people to be it.  Everyone else is a runner.

The “its” will decide as a group what the first “Like it” will be then yell it to the runners.  If for example, the “its” decide the “like it” is dogs.  They will yell “dogs” and anyone who likes dogs will go to the “Yes” wall, and those who do not will go to the “No” wall.  Anyone who “Maybe/Sometimes” likes dogs will go to the middle. 

As the runners make their way from wall to wall, the taggers or the “Its” try and tag them, if a runner gets tag they also become “It”.  If a runner’s answer to a question is the same as the wall or area they are on they do not move. 

The game is over when only a few runners remain.
