Grab a playground ball and head to the playground to play angry birds the playground game. Designate pigs and birds in this active group game twist on the popular video game.

Supplies

A few playground balls(The angry birds)
A playground or jungle gym
Friends to Play​

Game Set up

Choose one person to be the “launcher.” Everyone else (the pigs) finds a place on the playground to “hide” from the balls.

How to play Angry Birds the Playground Game

After all of the pigs have selected a place. The “Launcher” throws the ball into the playground or jungle gym. If a pig is hit by the ball they leave the playground. A ball may hit multiple people in one turn, in that case all those hit leave the playground.  The “Launcher” gets three balls to try and hit every pig. When the birds hit all the pigs, the launcher wins. Choose another child to be the “Launcher” and start again.

Tips: For younger children ban covered slides, bridges, etc.
