Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Melt chocolate according to package instructions. Mix in the chow mien noodles until completely coated. Use a large spoon to scoop out the chow mien noodles into piles. Using gloved hands push the pile of noodles around so that it makes a nest shape. Add the candy coated eggs. Allow to cool.
Supplies
Cut out the eggs and allow children to use the crayons and color the eggs. After the eggs are colored pour some oil into the bowl and soak some up with a cotton ball. Lightly rub the oilly cotton ball all over the egg. Allow the egg to sit for 10 minutes or so. After 10 minutes you will see that the paper has become transparent, punch a hole in the top and loop the ribbon through the hole, hang the egg in a window for an easy beautiful Easter craft.
Gather children around a table. On the table have out toothpicks, wooden skewers and marshmallows. Give each child a peep.
Explain to the children that their challenge today is to build a tower that holds a peep at least two feet in the air. Using the materials on the table, they will have twenty minutes to come up with a design and successfully create a 24 inches tower with a peep on top.
