Bring some spooky into your program with these fun Halloween activities for school age kids. Kids will have a ghostly good time with these engaging activities.

Bat in the moon Craft

Have kids color a coffee filter with reds, oranges and yellows. When the filter is completely colored ball it up and run it under warm water for a few seconds. Uncrumple the filter and lay flat on a piece of paper towel to dry.   

Print the bat printable and  have the kids cut out the bats.  When the coffee filter has dried glue it to a black pieces of construction paper, then glue the bat to the coffee filter.


Borax Free Gak

Supplies

  • ¼ C liquid starch
  • ¼ C Elmers Glue
  • 3 drops food coloring
  • Ziplock Bag
  1. Add the starch to a ziplock bag
  2. Add food coloring
  3. Add elmer’s glue
  4. Mix together until it forms a solid ball
  5. Remove and play!

Bat Bait

Supplies

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (optional)
  • ½ cup candy corn
  • ½ cup M&Ms (Black & Orange)
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 Cup chex cereal

Mix everything together and enjoy!


Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Supplies

  • 2 16oz Container of Cool Whip
  • 1 30oz can of Pumpkin Pie Mix
  • Graham crackers or vanilla wafers for dipping

Mix together the Cool Whip & the pie mix.  Chill and Serve with crackers or wafers. That easy!


Ediable Fake Blood!

  • 1/2 Cup of corn syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa powder/chocolate powder​
  • 1 tablespoons of red food coloring
  • 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate syrup​
  1. Add corn syrup to jar or bowl
  2. add the cocoa powder and red food coloring
  3. add chocolate syrup until you get the consistency you want
  4. Enjoy
